    Milton after action

You never realize how bad they suck till you live through one. Every hurricane I get all sorts of new friends that need generator hookups. Or the one I didn't like very much that needed his set serviced (out of spec frequency) and waited till the last moment to tell me, I couldn't talk...

    Milton after action

First hurricane power outage after joining the MEP clan, and it was a "fun" one. Wind finally took the power down at about 5am, and the 004 (yes its oversized, but it was cheap and available) decided it was gonna give me grief. heard a loud pop and was greeted by a nice and toasty fire...

    MEP802A 12V Generator

I'll take my tang with alcohol Simple fire physics. You need fuel oxygen and heat. N² is an oxygen displacer (it's actually 78% of atmosphere at sea level).

    MEP802A 12V Generator

It stops combustion. So it works well. The reason I use it is I have an unreasonable number of tanks in my shop . Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk

    MEP802A 12V Generator

I keep bottled nitrogen in the shop just for that reason. A CO2 fire extinguisher can work too

    DN2M / DN4M engine experts, a Q about stuck rings.

    MEP802A 12V Generator

Transformers in DC are more commonly known as electromagnets. So it's not as simple. Not to mention (because it's been mentioned above) all the controls would have to be redone.

    MEP-003A

Other helpful things to look at: pay close attention to the IN and OUT on the filter castings, Ive had these backwards before. change the filters and open the bleed screw on the first filter (center unit) and set the main switch to prime and run. when fuel leaks from the bleeder do the same...

    MEP-003A

Strainer undo the nut at the bottom of the bowl Filters take the large bolt off on the top center of the housing (think its 5\8) it has a smallwr bolt sticking out of it (1\4) that's also your bleed screw).

    Demilling an 805b

No, but I do controls for a living and a place would be easy to install. I did a hybrid to a 004, it's controls are intact but I added a servo and other external sensors. Sent from my SM-S908U using Tapatalk
