That is a real number but in practice it lasts for such a short period of time its USUALLY not an issue. Its when caps get soft, when generators are a little weak, or you have a lot of wire in the power path that this number blows up into a real problem.

Both GAS and DIESEL are checked on the application chart for that pump. The application specialist I talked to on the phone gave me that one as one of the options to replace the E1074.

It sayes in the service manual if im not mistaken that it is not serviceable. Obviously that doesn't mean it can't be serviced.

There are no connectors if its like mine. Just a crimped stub.

Everyone needs to know that the replacement pump is functionally identical but not mechanically identical. The fittings are 3/8" instead of 1/8". Adapters will have to be applied to make it work.
