I'll have to check but if I remember correctly the internal wiring for the convenience outlet was pretty light. I don't think it would be suitable for a 20a circuit. I can check when I'm back home on Saturday though.
If you wan to use higher current devices I do recommend using the output lugs...
That altered bolt sets the maximum mechanical governor limit. That is an important adjustment. If you aren't seeing the engine overspeed I would leave it alone for now. We can circle back and get everything tweaked in once you have some of the other issues resolved.
There is a procedure for...
I'd be curious why it was stated that its not a good idea to run in 120v configuration. I could see an issue with making sure you could handle the fault current but otherwise its the second best choice from an efficiency choice. Three phase being the best and 240v split phase being the worst.
You can. That would be one way to not be restricted by the unbalanced load limitations that comes with 240v split phase.
BUT that still only gets you half of the rating of the plug. The second thing it does is put all the current on a single pair of wires. You will be loading that 6 gauge up...
Sure, I get that. But its still a 240v setup but it will be used as two single 120v circuits.
Ok, the 802 is good for 26a between L1 and L3. Your wire and everything is overkill but that is OK. So if you were in an extreme situation drawing from a single 120v circuit in the RV you should limit...
Here in NC I helped my brother replace his main panel outside with one that would accept an interlock setup. Same kind of thing. Pulled permits, power company came out and disconnected the service. We installed the new panel which included the generator inlet, breaker, and interlock. Inspector...
