cheapest way would be to rebuild it yourself. 2 kits is around 40 bucks each x 2

both are the same, I also found this in my search eastern surplus has them that are new for 275.00 the rebuild kit is around 40 bucks

I just bought one last week from rare electrical. M1008 M1009 M1028 CUCV ALTERNATOR 12V 1105500 OE 100A it seems to work ok. they had it to me in 2 days, I bought a rebuild kit from CUCV Electric and rebuilt mine for a back up. hope this helps. buzz
