if your getting 14v from both alternators with the truck running, you are fine. It could be the gauge. IIRC the gauge is 12v with a resistor to cut the power in half for the gauge reading. I don't really trust any of the gauges in old school chevys.
I called my friend but he did not call me back. The short adapter will work you just need the matching cross member. as long as it a high mount. Th350/700r4/400.
yea if your doing the banks kit you need a civi tray. The 6tl are over kill for these trucks. Mine 6TL cracked my inner fender too. If you got $ buy 2 blue tops.
