I put both trucks on the ground both in park but transfer case in nuetral My k30 had about 1/4 inch of play and seemed normal. the D30 moves about 1 1/4 inches. guess I'm pulling it tomorrow.
on my 14 bolt when I put it in to reverse or forward I hear a clunk. The pinion moves 1 inch before it catches I guess the next tooth. I know its not a mount making the noise its the pinion yoke. I had the driveshaft off and with both wheels on the ground when I checked. Any got any answer...
Its supposed to be both. If I was working on the truck this is what I would do. Pull all of the glow plugs and get some jumper cables and a battery and test the glow plugs. If you do not know how to do this go to youtube and look over there. once you verified all of them work put them in and get...
To give it some power to light up some check engine lights. You need to rebuild passangers side alt. And recharge batteries and then check for 14v at each battery with truck running
