Yes, that is a M151 jeep heater with the end cap/fresh air intake missing. These are commonly used in this configuration for generic use.

The part number is 3058097, not sure if they can cross the number or not. I have bought one there before and I had to return the fiirst one as it was wrong, sorry it was a while ago and I don't have the NAPA number.

Just use a standard 12volt charger and hook it up to one battery at a time, no need to unhook or remove them.

Check to make sure it is getting fuel, try bleeding the fuel filter and look for good flow, check to make sure you have voltage at the glow plugs, try cracking the injector line at the injector to see if fuel is making it there. Never heard back on the M1028 brackets. Mark
