we used to escort 377 het outta germany while in iraq. went through bogie tires like it was goin out of style . would be an awesome tow rig. slower than **** though
they dragged it in the south gate before it caught fire. i dunno how it finally lit up, maybe the brakes got too hot and that ignited it. the fire depo did finally come out after it was already ablaze. when were you there?
we used to escort fuelers from taji. uh, i think at the time it was 541 st out of benning or jackson, cant remember. but ya, they are a big slow target. we used to run a lot into baghdad at nights, to muleskinner in east baghdad. had to tow one fmtv uparmored one time. i remember one night...
hahaha cool man ya i know where its at. had to convoy our trucks up there to get uparmored. uh, the "snake base", anaconda. those in the pics are third platoons trucks. no offense, but we took the boxes out of a few of ours and they rode like sh**. luckily, we never had to test the capabilities...

ha, killed a 923 with a cummins nhc250 in the sand box towin an uparmored fmtv tractor outta the kill zone. it still ran, but i could notice that the truck was never the same again
should be a 16 speed kitty tranny, as the 920 is basicly the same truck. i dont know though the military does weird things. drove a 920 a few with a scraper on it. having driven truck before joining the Army, i found it ackward to shift but fun do drive once you get used to it
we had 923/925's with the steel boxes for about half the deployment. then they started sending us up to anaconda to get the what we referred them as the mega man uparmors. then they took our boxes out back at the ranch and they rode like shieza. i had to gun in one all the way to arifjan from...
call wilwood or another brake products manufacturor and see if they can help you. they probably could at least help you calculate the right size m/c youd need.
