Beyond the inside evaporator unit and the bracket we'll need a condenser (which I'm guessing can be an aftermarket one of the appropriate volume capacity), the compressor, belt and hoses. And of course, a truck (for those of us still on the sidelines in that regard). Has anyone id'd the...
Not on my part. Sorry if it came across like that. I do have all the TMs that are posted here downloaded and just can't find the information in it. I'd be surprised if there wasn't a -34P though. It may not be released for general distribution yet as to the reason it's not here.
I said I looked in the -20, -20P, and -34. If there's no -34P then thats probably why I don't have access to it. The thing is, the only reference to AC parts I can find is for the M1079 box AC unit. Thats why I asked for the specific TM and page number.
Which TM and, if possible, which page? I looked through the -20, -20P, and the -34 and couldn't find it. I don't have access to a -34P so couldn't check there.
Being timed to coincide with Brent Mullins event at the Museum of the American GI pretty much dictates when it'll be held. If the weather is anything like this weekend it might be too warm.
That's a beautiful looking truck. If they ever start selling them again in TX I'll be in the market. As it is, I could bid a lot higher locally versus driving to CO or NC or anywhere OUTSIDE of TX.
But getting back to the wheel covers, I'll definitely be looking in to those as well. They...
Here's a list of parts supposedly from the HIMARs rocket trucks which the LMTV AC units were designed for. The person who posted them took the inside the cab unit then cross referenced it's part# with the others. Maybe you can use the part number from the bracket to cross with the NSN of your...
I'm in if they're vinyl. I'm okay with paying a little extra due to the VISA issue but would like an idea on shipping costs. If it's going to be extreme that'd make me reconsider.
If you can't find a particular replacement plate but have a picture or drawing of what you need TexAndy may be able to replicate it for you. He takes anodized aluminum plates and etches them with a laser. I know he was making tags for mock Mark 19s for a guy we met at the MVPA convention last...
Not mine. This was done by Justin Wehring (user ID wehring) for this unit before going on the MVPA Convoy last year. He also has a setup to hook a gooseneck trailer to it.
If you get a line on the compressor bracket I'd be interested in where. I have the interior unit (just not a LMTV yet) and want to be ready to install as soon as I get one.
A lot of people (myself included) have their 1101/1102 registered as a regular vehicle not FMV. This regulation should have zero effect on FMV trailers.
