Steering may have been a big issue on the original demil codes but those were changed in Nov 2014. I bought 2 from the NC Forestry Dept in Jan with no demil requirements. Several other SSrs have bought them in the last year.

On my mobil device but can't find any info different than on one of the normal postings. A big question on these TYPE of listings is if they come with titles. If it is a private individual and all they have is GP paperwork from a prior sale you're going to have a tough time getting a title.
My conflict isn't over whether GovPlanet selling private items is good or bad just whether buying a private item through GP is good or bad. I can't assume it's in any better shape than one sold off of Ft Campbell or Ft Hood. Minimum bids on actual government surplus reflect a bit of "risk" so...
