Mr. wreckerman893:
I walked into the USMC 28dec1970 for 5 years. After that I was a member of the SCANG for 25 years. I have been a Southern Redneck for 58 years and exposed to
many Bubbafied things. I too don't have a clue was that axle fits.
Thanks, Pvt. Hotdog
All:
Sorry it took so long! It has been a long week. The transmission is for a 5 ton. G744. The MWO tag is dated 9-9-91. I was able to get the guy to hold off.
Thanks, Pvt. Hotdog
I agree with Mr. combst32, thats how I ended up with all of this OD stuff. One day I called my wife and told her I needed $2500 dollars when she asked why, I told her I needed her help driving two 2 1/2 ton's home.
I do have a M1008 parts truck. If I take a bad part off to put on one of the...
Thank you both for the info. It looks like a depot rebuild. I can't see the date on the MWO tag. I will talk the guy into holding off taking that one to the scrap yard.
Mr. KsM715, If I can get in soon enough I will check it out for you and I will check for a data plate.
I think I saw some 2...

Mr. SimonG:
The PB Blaster is very good. I have used break fluid before but you have to be careful of paint. I know this is going to sound crazy, but try to tighten the bolt some. I have had good luck with that trick before. Maybe you will break it off.
Good luck!
Thanks, Hotdog
I too know of units swapping out a good 6.2 for a new 6.5 along and along. I would think that is would not be hard to tag an engine bad to end up with a new 6.5 in place of an old 6.2.
Good Luck, Thanks, Hotdog
Sorry Mr. jholler:
I guess since I retired I can no longer read! Your Wife did very good work. That castle has a very special meaning to some of us. Essayons!
Thanks, Pvt. Hotdog
PS: Thank you for your service to our Country.
Mr. docfarmall:
Nice truck, saved another one. It looks pretty strait too. Check the side panels, they might be turned around backwards hiding the red cross.
Thanks, Hotdog
