Mr. Hedgehog69:
I used 18ga galvanized steel for ease of fabrication on mine. When I got it painted with CARC paint it looked not bad.
Thank you sir, Hotdog
Just installed the world famous Mr. Doghead starter relay upgrade on the M-1028. The only problem I had was my old wore out back. The change out came off without a hitch. Now I will do the M-1008!
The NAPA relays cost me 13 dollars and some change with my retired military discount. Thanks, NAPA...
I recently bought a 10KW. It ran and produced power well. The fuel tank leaked at the seam, so being a welder I built a new tank using the existing ports (thread-o-lets) and welded them to the tank. The replacement tank fit and worked well. You can control your heat with the TIG RIG to reduce...
Mr. Suggsdr:
That is way to funny, thanks for making me laugh.
Mr. Warwag:
Thanks for your story. I too have some fond memories with my Dad and you are correct, that is all I have left, Thanks Dad.
Who would have though that so much fun and enjoyment with my kids would come from a trip to...
I love it when the work truck needs repair and heads to the shop. I get to drive my truck, he, he,.... "No man, I don't mind Boss".
My kids like it too, "we are riding in the Army truck to school".
Anyone know where I can find the index tool for the facing cam on the IP?
If the answer is no, then I have a follow up question.
Thanks, Hotdog
PS: Yes I have all ready removed the facing cam, and yes I am a Dummy.
The fording operation and the "water in fuel" light may not have anything to do with each other. A dirty fuel filter will get the same "water in fuel" light. I would change the fuel filter first.
Thanks, Hotdog

Those 1stSGT just don't understand do they? Man they can get bad with the butt chew outs. I can say that I needed everyone of them. I spent a lot of time on S*#T burner detail,............ not good!
Thanks for sharing your life, Pvt. Hotdog
Hello General:
I love your collection. Shoot together we have a small Army. I was looking through my manuals for a 5 ton poster question, and I ran across a TM. Did I see an MKT in your lineup? The TM is TM-10-7360-206-13 KITCHEN, FIELD, TRAILER MOUNTED MKT-75, MKT-75A & MKT-82. Dated 1 JUNE...
Natem, now I am depressed (one year). I have an A2 that I disassembled in 2001.
I know all about sidetracked. I think I invented sidetracked. I am almost finished with the welding.
Part of my problem is I am not 30 anymore.
How is your progress?
I have looked through every 5 ton manual (about 3 dozen) that I have and I am sorry to say no soap. The oldest manual is dated 1972, the newest is 2001.
Sorry that I could not help this time.
If you can find a TM manual #, I will recheck for you.
Thanks, Pvt. Hotdog
