When you say on the box on the back left.. You mean the inverter box? The terminals on the top of that one?
If you don't have 240v between L1 and L2 on that with the switch in the 240v setting that could be a problem with the inverter itself. Lets hope that isn't the case.
If anyone wants to rebuild their own alternator here are the part numbers and prices I was quoted for the rectifier parts:
Positive Rectifier - 0180000G98S $13.76
Negative Rectifier - 0180000F83S $5.83
Diode TRIO Assembly - 0144300F16S $5.60
It will take some soldering to install...
All the diodes on the negative ring are OK. One of the diodes on the positive ring is OK. It looks like there was an assembly error with two of the diodes on the positive ring being installed upside down.
The triode assembly checked ok too.
The stator tests OK on continuity as well.
Now to...
My thoughts on pressure washing anything is where the stuff you are loosening up is going to go. If you have a bunch of abrasive stuff down there I personally wouldn't want that in the alternator.
If I were going to do that I would remove all the panels and seal up everything I wanted to protect.
Thanks. I have the alternator its just bad. The rectifier assembly is bad and the stator is rubbing. I figured it would be cheaper to replace than rebuild. I was looking at single wire alternators but I've not found dimensions to be confident in a substitution.
Edit - Sorry for the typos. Phone...
Are you running with no batteries?
The ABC voltages are not a problem in my opinion.
The JH voltage depends on the actuator setup. Don't worry about that right now.
What is the no load full speed frequency?
Have you loaded it more than 1500w?
Don't worry about it not shutting down. That one will be pretty easy to solve. The solution for that isn't in the book.
Also don't worry so much about the breaker.
I'm more interested with the voltages. Which voltages are out of whack? From the PMA or output voltage? The PMA voltages you...
I wonder if regular running of the machine plays a part in whether mice find refuge there. I run mine once a month and I've never found any sign of an invasion. Being on a trailer could also be a deterrent I guess.
How long does something have to sit before the mice decide to move in?
I would recommend against bleach being anywhere near electrical stuff. If you are wanting to get a sanitizing effect use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol after doing a rough cleaning.
If you want to get serious use a peracetic acid with hydrogen peroxide (spray bottle, don't flood it, that isn't...
I found a NIB ASK for my 003 and that quietened it down a LOT. Maybe not as much as the insulation you are using but it is much better than without it. Thats for sure!
I was looking for the fuel filter info and figured out that the fuel filter setup on the 831 is a Racor 120A with a R12T element.
If you have a unit missing the main fuel filter you can see what you need in the attached brochure.
Edit - This is an alternate for the WIX 33583 filter.
