My plan wasn't to use it on my Power Wagon. I have a hitch for pullin the 101 behind my Dakota Quad Cab. And since the chains wont reach the hitch mounted on the truck, I wanted to put it on the pintle plate to be able to use the chains. The pintle on the Power Wagon is different, but I'm...
I posted this over in the trailer forum and don't seem to be getting any leads, so I thought I'd try here since I beleive the part was listed on ebay under M-37s
Does anyone know where I can get one of these plates for the safety chains? Maybe two depending on the dimensions. I have a hitch for...
Does anyone have an extra plate like this or know where I can get one or two? Sorry now I didnt buy it when I saw it on ebay, cant find em now.

Pretty cool. I like it, may do that to mine too, even though I modified an intervehicular cable to fit my truck and added a small rv plug on my truck. But I like that cuz then I wouldnt hafta cahge between the cables depending on which truck i pull it with

Ive considered myself pretty lucky so far. No injuries on the trailer and only a smashed finger and a few minor cuts on the truck so far. Nothing requiring hospital or stitches.
Thanks for the compliments. Its always nice to hear stuff like that from people that have alot more experience in...

As for the tire carrier, its awesome. Absolutley no problems at all. Mounted great, very stable...
Well, here it is.
Thanks to Wrench Wench for the help and suggestion to make my own stencils. I did just that. Tinkered around til I found the perfect size for what I wanted, spaced as I wanted. Printed em out and transferred them to an adhesive electrical tape-type film, cut em out, taped em...
Seriously though, isnt that what the board that goes from the front bow to the back bow, right down the middle, on some trailers is for? Although it makes takin the bows off harder.
I thought of doin it with the board, but since my bows are gonna be off and on quite a bit, it would kinda be a...
The lunette sits at 26" when level, with the lunette angled down and unhooked from my Dakota. The pintle sits at 24 1/2" when installed on the Dakota. When the trailer is set on the pintle, it squats the back end of the truck now that I have the spare tire on the tongue. Without the tire on it...
