Snow? what's that.
Thanks for that info. I would have never guessed. As you can imagine, it is difficult to relate to when you never see it.
Not sure which tires you are referring to. The ones on the truck now are 90%.
Two on the ground (NDTs) are probably 80% and 95%. You can still see the...
If I might ask, what is that on the front of your M-37? It doesn't look like any kind of winch and I can't tell.
On another note, I'm putting on new tires today. I'm taking off the NDTs and going to the newer style Superlugs. They look a lot better to me, but I'm not sure about the history of...
I wonder if the axles at Tractor Supply would work OK on that. They are not very expensive. Most axles on the trailers we're familiar with are going to be to big for that. If you have the measurements you can probably research it online.
It's scrap. :3dAngus:
Just send it over to my house...
M1101/1102 NSN is 3040013496927 , damper inertia
M101A2 NSN is 2510010507136, shock absorber, formerly NSN 2540-01-050-7136
Will they interchange? Dunno. I can't see any part of it on a M1101. It's completely buried in metal protective sheathing.
I would go $2K for the one with the larger and cleaner tires without asking any more questions or having to see it.
I'm not sure how much further I would take it, if any at all. You just cannot lose any money at $2K for that one. Somebody will buy it.
I place my bids on these MVs NOT based on...
Yes.
Disconnect the trailer, and see how easy/difficult to push in the pintle hitch and pull back out. If it is sloppy and easy, you need a new shock, and might even need a new master cylinder for the brakes. See if the cup is dry.
Ignore this test post with multimedia.
First response,
Without signing in, reply button does not show up, reply with quote does. Not sure if that is correct, nor did I test it before I logged in.
Picture thrown up for test. Picture is of trailer. Will edit and change to truck next.
Next test...

Hope that answers the question.
edit: You find that under "Upgrade" in the top pull down menu, then "Premium Membership."
Thanks Storm. Further curious now...
In a real life military situation, can I assume black out marker lights are so you can be seen (barely) but not from a distance. Is it so no one in another vehicle, or part of a convoy runs over you at night, with lights off? It's just the way I would...
Yep, nice pictures and better then mine. I took some this morning of the left rear for some reason, and the bullet light is on the right.
The trailer plug is on the left. Clearly, my mind was on more wire brushing and painting for the day. And yes, I did get more done. This afternoon I...
Update; I found out insurance is so much cheaper if an antique is restored and garaged, so I'm feverishly working on mine to make it look so, even if only temporary. I'm applying paint and wire brushing off any light rust, and hope to put on some stars and newer Superlug wheels and tires to make...
