Same in TX. It has happened to me several times and as long as I have an invoice that shows GL collected the tax I was not charged that amount when registering the vehicle.

Forgot to mention the stats from the trip: Mileage - 2575.3 (round trip) Fuel - 200.9 gallons That beats what we would have done if I'd gotten the Goat in Idaho. That would have been around 3750 round trip.
