Installed my PRC-351 Clansman Radio, AS-3900 Antenna and a voltage regulation system to protect it all.... sounds good! Transmits good! and Brutus and I can now be found on 51.000

I too brought way too much stuff on my recovery from Huntsville but I agree you can not be too prepared if you want to avoid the cost of a tow. My recovery from Huntsville to Maryville, TN was 240 miles through the back roads and the truck drove like a dream! Did absolutely nothing beyond...
OH you should! It will bolt up to the AMC 2.5L or the Isuzu 2.8 bell-housing.... I look long and hard for one with my last Jeep but eventually gave up for the Caddy v8
yes ! if you can find a peugeot and don't mind machining adapter that would be a very reliable choice! Had a 1.6L in a Dodge Omni and routinely knocked down 50 mpg... wouldn't win any drag races but....
Perkins, Yanmar, Nissan, VW, IH, Detroit..... Any diesel option is cool! But one "small" warning from a re-engine project of mine from a few years back... Pay close attention to the governor setup on any Genset Diesel you think about using. I replaced a Firetruck engine with a larger/newer...

Excellent! I too want a M105 Camper but I don't have 8 friends that I want to sleep with... :D I'm thinking a pop up with sleeping area across the front and a fold/pull out kitchen in back... Weight distribution may change the arrangement... But first I have to buy the trailer...
