well my m715 locked front and rear was rediculous trying to turn offroad. powersteering would turn the wheels, but the locker stil made it go straight. and THANK GOD i had a selectable up front
weight transfer is a factor in a regular balanced vehicle with 4 tires. i understand the theory of weight transfer, but isnt a deuce 6000 over the front axle on 2 contact patches, verses 6000 in the rear over 8 contact patches? so i guess do you want the axle locked with 3000 lbs per side...
1) you give your ONE example of how daniel has made things right for you. its borderline fanatical. there are a few others here who may agree. there are MANY more who do not. many more people i know that i trust have had bad experiances. i have had TWO. TWO bad experiances. BUT i do not bash...

i used it on a tow behind BBQ pit. the m715 was 12v, the deuce 24. i towed it last tailgate season and no probs. hell i gave it to the LA Natl guard (the BBQ pit and trailer) they are still using it!
wow, it all sounds wierd to me. as an accident reconsructionist it really does.
ken, i worked a fatality where a female was killed by the rear duals on a 350 truck, but those duals, as you know, track wider than the front tires, unlike an m35
