Thanks, it will only be used for my new 24v charger / maintainer. Saw these slave plugs con the manufacturer's website for around $250.00, bought it new for $47.50!
One more question.... being budget conscious, I found this connector online for short money. Are all NATO Slave Receptacles the same? My truck is a M931. HUMVEE NATO Slave Receptacle J-6362/U 24V Connector
I have done a search and know this has been done before, but can't find specifics. I just purchased a NOCO Genius 12v/24v Smart Battery Charger / Maintainer and would like to charge / maintain (24v) my four Hawkers (installed in 2010 by Uncle Sam) via the slave port on the passenger side. I...
In NH, the DMV / Town Hall based their registration fees and motor vehicle tax on MSRP, not the sale price my bill of sale / invoice. The could not find an M931, but they did find the MSRP on a 1985 AM General M925 at $58k, so they used that for my MV tax / registration fees!
My VIN was no where to be found on my truck frame, so I applied for my SF97 with the VIN on the dash's upside, yes upside data plate. I soon received a very nice email from Catherine at GL, who sent me a pdf file on how to locate my VIN on the frame of my truck. Still no match, so she...
Congrats, my M931 Bob is a work in progress. He is known as ZEUS. My Bobbed Deuce was known as BRUTUS. My first mod was locking door handles and a keyed battery kill switch, then a Zerostart 1500 watt block heater, a must in NH and worth every penny of the $62.00 spent, next was step ($35.00)...
I have searched the TM's, but can't find the dimensions of the two fittings which attach the feed and return lines to the top of driver's side, 58 gallon tank in my M931. I need to have two new lines made. Thanks!
Thanks for the detailed description and pics. Stupid question... Will I have to disconnect everything, including the drive shaft to install the new spring setup? Inspections were to fail for both the perches / hangers and blocks.
I owe an apology to CBR and ALL others on this forum regarding the input on my M931 Bobbed job. I solved my fuel problem, (by installing 2 Baldwin filters and switching tanks) so I went down to top off the driver's side tank and get my inspection sticker.
After going to the four different...
As a member, contributor and supporter of the SS Forum, since 2007, I find it a bit troubling that a Vendor on this forum, who hasn't even inspected my truck, call the suspension guys (with 50 years combined experience) who spent a considerable amount of time under my truck idiots. I would...
Suspension update.... I have had two experienced suspension "experts" out to look at my truck recently and the following comments / suggestions were made:
1) U-bolts are rated for 10 ton. The blocks are welded together and it would take a hit from a D-9 dozer blade to topple them!
2) 1" X 1"...
Just want to give the group a quick update on my fuel issues. I drained the driver's side tank (about 5 gallons left) to make sure there was no sludge or rust, clean as a whistle. Then using my transfer pump, I pumped about 30 gallons out of the passenger side tank, into the driver's side tank...
I just picked up the NOCO G7200 12/24v smart charger. It would be nice to charge my batteries via the outside slave adapter using the charger's 24v smart option. Has anyone wired up a slave plug for this purpose? Thanks
