LowTech is that a grease sert on the throwout brg.if it is can you get to it from the plate at the bottom of the bell housing.I didnt know there was one there.
Great info. Mike,I always wondered what all was involved.One day might have to replace brakes or seals.My axle leaked from bad vents.Now they dont leak,but I know the brakes are oil soaked now.
We tryed the stuff that puts a coating in the cooling system it didnt work.You cant beat aluminum stop leak.If my engine runs good I will fill it with concrete before I will pull a motor.
I would try some aluminum stop leak to see if it will work for now.I used it on are race engine one time that was leaking water in the oil it worked great.I would try some sort of stop leak before I pull a motor.
I couldnt make up my mine which tires I wanted.I keep wanting the biggest tires I could put under it.I figured I was going to buy one set of tires,so I bought the 46 XMLs.In my opinion the 46" tires were the best tire to get.They fit the truck great.But I still want 53s:drool:.
I use the digital pyrometer and it works great.Ive been playing with my IP screw,I got my EGTs pre turbo at no more than 1200.If it gets close to 1200 I back off on the throttle.Thats with my foot to the floor up a hill.I watch my pyro more than my speedometer.I really like the power it makes...
