Thats whats nice about this site. You have a problem and you fix it, let us know.A year down the road I might have the same problem. Im going to remember this thread.[thumbzup]
Ive lost weight driving my duece.I think its all that shifting up and down.Pushing the clutch in and out.Manual steering, manual brakes. When your body is use to PS,PB and automatic transmittion for years. When I get done driving my duece it feels like I went 2 rounds with Mike Tyson.
I went out and looked on the pass. side again. They spray painted black paint over the other numbers.I cleaned the best I could and got. WVARNG 601E Driver side is E-27.The 601E was painted over.Im pretty sure thats the #s it still has paint on it.
I have to bring the throttle up a little. And then I let out on the clutch to match the fell of the truck.Theres been times I didnt get the RPM up just right and it will start to buck a little.SoI push the clutch down a little, and do it again. But when you drive one for awhile with experience...
Im trying to understand your shifting RPM. Man that sounds high to shift.I took a good look at my RPM today.I shifted between 1800 to 2100 RPM on every shift. And 2100 RPM on the engine sounds alot to me.Maybe im not reading your post right on shifting RPM.
