I dont see how a tire makes a differance on a open carrier.As long as it is not in four wheel drive.When I got my truck it had all different tread ,95 to 20 percent tread.I had no problem at all.
I was told by a person that use to work on the deuces.If your front tires have flat spots, go backwards in a circle,it might fix it.On a sprag tranfer case.It might be worth a shot.
Just think of all the money that can be made from the parts,or the whole truck.Alot of those trucks had hard tops.Some of those trucks look better than mine.

I use 5 gallons WMO to 20 gallons reg.gas.No problems yet.I strain my WMO thru a paint strainer twice.Ive burned about 35 gallons of WMO so far.Still going strong.It starts at 5 degrees,with no manifold heater or ether.It still has the same fuel filters it came with.:driver:
I like mine big high and slow,and loud.The only radio I got in the truck is the whisler turbo.These truck are not made to go fast.Slow down and smell the WMO.[thumbzup]
