I don't have a good answer for what "too hot" is , but my tires get hotter than my hubs. As long as the tires are in good shape (not age checked) and are properly inflated. I wouldn't worry too much about them until they start changing colors or developing bulges. If either one of those...

Tires are 1100 20 on m34/m135 rims with the rear hubs flipped. Flipping the
hubs isn't very complicated and would add very little time to an inspection/repacking of the bearings.

had fun at clinto's today. A worsening leak on one of the cylinders means that as usual plans have changed. Repacking cylinders and replacing the last two hoses moves to the front of the line...

Thanks for posting the pics. I was amazed out how much hold that adhesive/sealant had. It took way more force to break it free than to suspend/lift it once it was off the truck.
Also it was great to put another name w/ a face here on Steelsoldiers.
the only issue I had registering my truck is that you have to have insurance to get a registration (in GA) and most insurance companies have no idea what to do with a deuce until they see its registration (or title) since I had not title it became a catch 22.
