Looking for Pintle nut size and thread pitch

Could someone answer for the rest of us? Im wanting to buy a pintle for my M37 and want to make sure the diameter hole is correct. It looks like a pipe is welded in my marine corp m37 where the pintle goes so I might have to go with a swivel pintle but I font know all the different sizes out there.

Want ads - Open to any user

I'm sure I won't be impacted by any change, but I would recommend if a change is made, premium members who have already paid get a grandfather clause. It should cut down on some of the complaining. Good luck, whatever you decide.

    Which Deuce is Best

I would buy the M35A5 if you're not familiar with them and havn't read the threads on the subject. The M35A5 is air conditioned, power steering, automatic tranny user switchable to manual, lock out hubs, a Catepillar rebuildable with whistler and multifuel, singled out 11/20's, and a girl on...

    GL condition: HX

Condemned codes carry a lot of weight with me if it is an item I cannot screen or get someone to look at it for me beforehand. I would ignore, unless I wanted it for parts and scrap. You just can't look at them all. I usually trust a "A1" or "A4" code without screening. If I can screen, I...

    GL condition: HX

It was probably intended to be a unserviceable item, condemned (H) , and worth more for scrap value (X). Here is a listing for all codes. It's in MSWord so I'm not sure if it will come up properly. Edit: Yes, it did come up properly, but you may have to have MSWord to read it properly. It...

    On the way to Bobs

So much depends on it getting done before the end of August. I'm personally working my new M-37, trying to get it ready too. And my MRAP wheel adapters have been delayed, but that might have been reborn today with them being ready for delivery mid week next week. I've really had trouble with...

    On the way to Bobs

Got some pictures in from USMCtopgun. The tandem is removed now and they got springs from the M-105 in on one side now. Did some cutting and grinding. They are going to pick up the pace on the bobbing by working it in the after noons much of this week. Not much to show. Hopefully, we'll come up...

    Maybe I'll Keep It!?

Cast iron sewer pipe was a dead giveaway. Anyway I seriously doubt you will ever get it up to 72mph. The best I get with my tires like that is 66.

    Got my coveted M-37

Thanks Storm. I gave you thanks on your post before I wrote the post above as well. I called my painter right after I wrote that. Sometimes when I yak like that, it makes me think. I think I better go with a pro. Thanks. I love your M-37! I plan on looking into the paint you mentioned and...

    Got my coveted M-37

So, today, I flushed out the radiator three times and pulled the temperature gauge sensor. The previous owner converted it to 12vdc, so it isn't going to be a true and very expensive type of restoration, and not in the traditional museum quality sense. I replaced the temperature sensor, and...

    Got my coveted M-37

And yep! It is a M-37 on the dataplate, belonging to the Marine Corp. I guess the refurbishment will just have to go along with the truck ID tags. It might not be the ideal candidate for a Infantry Museum being a MC vehicle, but, I'm thrilled to have it and it will do for my personal...

bought truck through government liquidation, need help

This is the way I would do it. I would call him and ask him is someone can do a full fluids check after his recovery of your MV, and test the brakes, and render an opinion. Every MV is different. After he, or someone he would recommend, would do a checkout with it off base, and if it is cited to...

    Got my coveted M-37

Seems like I have some research to do. Ill check the dataplate tomorrow. It was in bad shape. It appears f by concensus it is a marine vehicle. I never knew there was a difference and this is my first one so I guess I suck. Im going to repaint it. It does look kinda cool but sometimes when I...
