I chatted with Heidi and she said that the cell number will delay the approval, but it will still clear and many people don't have any other options.
They use it to verify home address by running a reverse lookup on the phone number and it doesn't work with a mobile phone. So it takes them...
Well I am a long time progressive customer and I know that even with the same company coverage can very state by state so I called this morning to see what it would cost to add one of the ones I just won to our policy.
I do not use an agent, I buy direct and they quoted it at 250.98 per year...
No guess, I know why. here in KY we pay the taxes when we register the vehicle, not at the sale. Trailers do not get registered here so you pay tax at the sale. Now with the trailer being out of state you are paying ohio's rate instead of KY.
Me neither, about once a month the cable guy or phone guy stops buy trying to get us to get a land line. I always tell them that we don't need one. They give a sales pitch about there being a terrorist attack or some other emergency and what if I needed to call an ambulance for our precious...
Open the euc form on the web site and put your mouse over the phone number box. A little instruction box opens and says "this number needs to be associated with your physical address, not a mobile or business phone...................."
I hope it doesn't become a problem, because all I have are...
GL is a private contractor, just like any other auction service they get payed by assessing a 10% buyers premium. You also need to submit the request for sf-97 (title) and that will cost you 77.00 as well.
I notice that the box on the EUC for your phone number says that it must be a land line to your physical address or it will delay the approval. I don't have a land line and don't really know many people anymore who do. Guess my turn around time is not going to be quick:-(
I think for some people there is added value to be able to say that this is a original military rebuild rather than "I did this myself with paint from Walmart and parts from Autozone":-D
Looked like a fresh rebuild to me. All new paint, interior, brand new winch. I would guess that to the right person it is worth twice what was payed for it.
I bought two m35a2 today and even though my wife and I discussed it prior to bidding she still sighed when I won them. I find the old adage"it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" to be completely wrong when it comes to wives.
Hard tops are a must have for me. Winches are over priced and under used in my opinion. I will not pay any extra for a winch vs no winch. I am very familiar with the capabilities of a 6x6 and will not put it where it will need to be winched back out and if I cant tow someone else out without a...
I have two to pick up and if you need help getting yours off I will be happy to help. I will be trying to get an appointment to go over and get mine ready for removal and then it is just a waiting game for the euc.
I don't think that is a bad price at all, if you bought it anywhere else it...
Unit 6937 was a winch truck I bid on, it closed for 2230.00. most of them went right around there, but most either had a rear tarp on the truck or in the bed so that adds some value too.
Call GL tomorrow and see if and when you can go look the truck over before spending money on batteries. One I saw was missing batteries and it was one with a tarp on it. I am betting that is why they opened the door for the pick, but I could be wrong so check it out first.
The problem with this...
I payed 1270.00 and 1400.00 for the two I bought, all of the ones with winches went near or over 2K. highest I saw was 2800.00. My ended watch list is currently empty, but usually everything you watched would be viewable after the action. if they come up later I will run down what they all went for.
If I remember correctly that truck is missing the batteries. It is hard for me to remember them all, but of the ones I saw they are all very nice trucks compared to what I have seen sold in the past. They have been phasing the m35s out since the late 90s and the trucks coming up in auction are...
