    Holy cow I won one!

As long as the event number is the same the euc is good for all three. The prices these things are selling for is a lot less than the were a few years ago. A running truck a few years ago would have been over 2500 no matter how many where on the site. They have come down mostly because of the...

    Holy cow I won one!

Congrats on the truck, that was one of the ones I was bidding on, hope I didn't drive the price up too much for you. I got two of my own so I am quite happy. EUC starts tomorrow we will see how long it takes. I had to have the drop side.

Why did you buy your deuce

I am another "greeny, hippy Honda" hybrid driver who likes military trucks. The biggest problem with this country is that everybody tries and segregate themselves into stereotypical groups. Diversity exists and we should be embracing it to protect our rights and freedoms. I am also a "left...

GL cluster in Frankfort, KY yesterday

It is pretty common for GL to use the same photos over and over. Their are several trucks at Frankfort right now. lot 6901 has a flat on the passenger side front and some of its pictures have been used on a few other trucks as well. Cant trust the pictures as a reference of what you will get.

GL cluster in Frankfort, KY yesterday

I had bids on two trucks without pics, one got pulled and the other pics got loaded up on. The good news is that if they pull some of the trucks we will have a second chance at winning one if it doesn't happen this time around. Looks to me like the bidding on them is going to be pretty...

    M35A2 Soft Top Conversion

I am not really what you would call a northern climate, but I did come from New England originally and spent some time in Alaska. A soft top with an arctic heater is useless. Not that any of these trucks are any good in the snow with the non-directionals on them anyway:-D

    M35A2 Soft Top Conversion

Soft tops are too much maintenance for me, gotta keep them clean, rot free replace them every time a bid stick catches them or snow load crushes them... I take a hard top any day. If I want more air I will let somebody else drive and I will sit in the back:-D

If you're still waitin on EUC

I hope they don't give you your money back so you can't bid on any nice kentucky trucks:razz: Wish people would be a little more quiet on here about those ky trucks:wink: I have my eye and money on a few of those trucks. Anybody else on here who wants assistance in moving one I would be happy...

    Gov. Liq. question

That is what I am suggesting happens at some locations. Unlike ebay where you can view the bid history and user name and percentage of activity bidders have with the seller, GL only shows "new bid" and "auto-bid" so there is no transparency. If a location wants to bump your bid up to the max...

    Gov. Liq. question

My advice is not to use auto-bid on GL. There is no way to make sure they are not driving the price up. I used it the first few years I was registered, but than stopped because I had several too many winning bids stop dead on my max:evil: Also trust nothing they say and definitely don't trust...

If you're still waitin on EUC

When GL first came online several years ago a first time EUC took 3 months, so getting it down to 45 days is a huge improvement. Keep in mind that if it wasn't a hassle the item would cost you more. As they improve on the timeline, prices increase. personnally I prefer the old days when you went...

    bobbed and lifted deuce

I have been wanting a unimog for a long time now, but lately have been considering bobbing a deuce as a cheaper alternative. Can you give us some detail on how you go about doing it. Did you keep the original axle? Anybody know about the legality of such a mod on one? I know that parts of the...

    railroad picture

Those pics are so cool, we get train loads of fema trailers and toyotas here in lexington, but I haven't ever seen a MV train. Trucks loads of Hmmwvs head north through here on I75 and then south again all armored. Do you ever get to run loads of MVs, I am not sure I would beable to keep from...
