If you look at your pics you can see the bolts in the middle of the air brake housings. They are already caged. The front brakes dont need to be caged.
Also the transfer case is single range, no low range or neutral( power always goes thru it to the back axles) Book says to start in 6th gear with loads over 75000 and 4th if 75k to 105k, 3rd if 105k to 130k.

Mbarber the straight series (lower than a1) have the cat tranny. A1 and higher have allison I believe.
I suppose these will be more available as they are getting pretty old. Mine says 9000 miles but it is pretty rusty and a couple of the tires are pretty worn though they do have different color rims. Maybe the tires were pulled to replace worn out ones on other trucks
