No it is not the air connection. Modern trucks with air brakes have springbrakes on the back axles. They have springs that put the brakes on if there is no air in the system. If you are driving down the road and lose air pressure the springs put the brakes on. When you start the truck you...

If you look at your pics you can see the bolts in the middle of the air brake housings. They are already caged. The front brakes dont need to be caged.

14.00x20 tires are rated over 9500 lbs single,16.00x20 rated over 12000 lbs single. The 14s are close to max axle weight and the 16s are well over.

My 919 had armor on the doors. You can see where it is still cammo. Holes drilled all the way around for mounting. Mbarber the straight series (lower than a1) have the cat tranny. A1 and higher have allison I believe.

I suppose these will be more available as they are getting pretty old. Mine says 9000 miles but it is pretty rusty and a couple of the tires are pretty worn though they do have different color rims. Maybe the tires were pulled to replace worn out ones on other trucks
