Official 2013 Georgia Rally Buy/Sell/Trade/Giveaway Thread

Anyone coming down I65 through Kentucky, or through the Nashville, TN area? I need a set of fiberglass deuce seats. My truck has new fiberglass upper rails, but some rough, old wood lower seats. I won't be able to attend the rally this year, but looking forward to next year. I would settle for...

Looking for MV collectors around Clarksville or LBL area.

Hey Al. I am a deuce owner in Franklin, KY. About 40 miles north of Nashville. I wish there was more activity in the area too. We have a pretty good car show here in the fall (a couple hundred). It gets bigger every year, with many categories. I'm thinking of showing my deuce this year just to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

 Dang! Someone stole the flux capacitor. I know. I have a new hard copy of the TM. You guys answered before I could walk back to the house to get it. I like to get the experts' opinion anyway.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Thanks. That's what I suspected. It has the A3 style electric kit on it, so no air parts.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Started disassembling the interior for paint. Labeling all the gauge connectors. Removing all the junk (useless fasteners, etc). Anyone know what the knob in the last pic is for? It is not connected to anything. Just curious.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Just took the tarp off for the first time to see what she looks like under there. Had brand new bows and fiberglass racks, but they bolted on some crappy warped, flaking seats. Hope to find some fiberglass replacements. Trying to get a few miles on before I start disassembling the interior for...

HASSON1911's M923A2 Acquisition and Restoration Thread

Awesome find! I'm looking at 5 tons myself, but the wife is just now getting over the deuce. Just talked her into riding in it yesterday.

    Solargizer question.

Should it be a steady glow or a continuous blink. Mine is blinking continuously. The LED on this one is recessed into the box further than the other one. I had to take it off and look directly into the top of it to see that it is on. I have it mounted under the dash on the firewall, since the...

    Solargizer question.

Thanks. I found a similar diagram. Looks like I have it hooked up correctly. I just have to test to see if it is working. I am curious what effect my battery disconnect on the ground has on the solargizer working.

    Solargizer question.

Just bought a Solargizer IS-24-L to replace the dead one that came on my deuce. I have read the articles on the forum, but never found a clear explanation of the correct way to wire these across two batteries. I bought mine off **Bay. No instructions were included. Haven't had any luck with...

    Battery sizzle?

2 Interstate Econopowers from 2010. Water is full. Truck had been sitting a lot during winter. All the battery terminals were old and loose. I went ahead and replaced all 4. Put a charger on them today. Just have to wait and see how it does.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally cleaned all the windows inside and out, scraping off all the CARC. Replaced all 4 battery terminals (Thanks 197thhhc for the deal). Waiting on my replacement air pack to get here so I can get the brakes working properly before I mount the remote brake reservoir (also from 197thhhc). Just...

    Battery sizzle?

Checked all the connections. Seems like pulling the amps through to start the truck is boiling the batteries. I think they are both nearly dead. Truck had a solar battery maintainer on it, found the control box full of water, unhooked it. It has gone from 75 back to the 30's here this week. I...

    Battery sizzle?

Got new battery terminals today, since mine were in bad shape and loose. Went out and installed them on the deuce. Dang! Batteries low. Just turned over a few times. Went back around to check my connections and found both batteries making a sizzling noise, much like the sound a battery makes...

    My First Deuce. Brake issue.

Should there be any kind of air sounds with the air pack. Like the sounds modern air brake trucks make, or is the air pack system silent on these. I hear no sounds when pressing the pedal. I read another thread somewhere on this forum about a sound pressing the brake with the engine off.
