Rear one last a while, I have had rear one on for 3-4 years and probably 75-80% left. The fronts are a different story, replaced them a couple years ago, and probably only put 700 miles (a rough estimate) on them. It hurts me to make a sharp turn and see black rubber dust in the ground.
Have you tried putting a bolt thru the brake mechanism to lock out the surge brake? I have a M101a1 and when I pull it behind my Sububan it runs great don the road, but when I pull it behind my 4runner I know it's there, it pulls, pushed, bounces and everything else. What are you pulling it with?
Ok, I have a question related to this topic. We now know what kind of oil to use, so how often should we change it? If you put less than 500 miles a year, how often do you guys change it?

I had a M1101 from Ft Polk, it's a great trailer but it looked way to big behind my 3/4 ton Suburban. Sold it to a guy that painted it flat black and pulls it in back of his 3/4 ton Dodge. It looked nice.
