I would pull the cannon plug off the back of the directional switch, make sure the pins are clean and the wires going into the plug are intact. And do the same with the flasher box, located under the hood. If that doesn't help, see if you can borrow one off another truck and swap flashers and...
Colors for identification wouldn't really be an issue, I have mine painted sliver roof paint, and just labeled well. Screw on some big funnels with lids and paint them contrasting colors so you have a little reminder before you pour.
2 in pipe with sufficiant cross bracing should work well.
DRMO has been replaced by DLA. I now require a secure login with a government CAC card to access the website for screening and requisistioning. Glad you guys made it back safe and glad to here she runs good. I didn't drive it much but seemed to be a peppy truck.
I towed one just a few miles behind my dodge 2500 cummins all wheel disc brake truck with weight in the back, and the trailer still made my truck a little 'squirrelly'. I'd feel better personnally with a deuce or 5 ton.
I tried to get my boss a 10kw for her farm, but she pretty much said no, that she wanted a 15kw. Not really sure why, she lives all alone. Maybe her plan is to feed her neighbors some power and charge them for it. I even set up a 275 gallon tank for it.
We had 60hz to 400hz converters on the...
I know that Neil Hendricks is running 22.5 rims and tires on the front of his deuce, that he got for a pretty good deal.
Just like tires for M37s, eventually the supply of good useable surplus 9.00x20s and 11.00x20s will start to dry up- then we will be paying $150+ for new production ones...
The m172 I got from AMGeneral has/had hinges and a place to mount a cylinder- but they cut the hinges off and the ramps didn't com with it, so I don't know exactly what they had rigged to it. I plan on building a set of ramps for mine. Won't hold a m60, but will work just fine for deuces and the...
There's plenty of room to sleep under the 'porch'. Might have to banish some of the more 'unruly' to the 'basement'
Me and Sevo made 15 gallons of hard cider last year, but it didn't go so well. Probably because Chris liked it like vinegar so that's the way we made it, most people like it a...
Needle guns work great. One time we were out to sea, and I was so tired... I ductaped the handle done, so it would constantly run, put on a pair of dirty googles, so no one could see my eyes. I sat down in the bildge wedged between the seawater service pump base and the fire pump base, and had...
Take a set of NDTs either 11x20 or 9x20 to put on the towed truck. Radials grip the ground too much and won't turn. I towed my m109 to haspin, took the g177s of the front and put on some 9x20 NDTs, towed just fine.
Glad to hear the recovery went well.
I got like 14.8 mpg with my dodge diesel, towing a 20k capacity trailer with DC3's R-2 air drag on it... Sounds like you need a cummins in something (other than the tug) Eric!
