Thanks for the replies, I know from DH it is not ok to use 12+ that gm used at the rear battery, so I needed to ask about this. The small short wire, suppresser, between the two junctions had me concerned about feed back?
Is it OK to ground any accessory at the ground junction on firewall? Installing new A/Cond. would be nice to ground there if possible, after coming through new cover on firewall.
I did a Vintage system not the other one and I went to Manufacture on that bracket , they are in Fort Worth Tx. I've had it on about a year now before the install of the rest of the kit, the other vender gets there bracket from him as well.
Just retaped those as well, some acc. on these trucks I believe, gas particulate, arctic heater, etc, I may be totally off? Someone will pipe up and confirm, I do know its keyed for off with key off.
Just to bring this A/C thread back to life a little. My Vintage system finally arrived and two days into the install. Compressor bracket has been on for a year now. Worked through some ideas for louvers so as not to upset volt meter , black-out switch location, and or course I'm not moving those...

Just a few Pics of stereo install, notice corner doesn't hang over, milled piece out for this and raised, moved left.
Seat in most rearward position after box was built THAT was a task with keeping enough air for sub.
Thanks to all who gave advice on wiring,Doghead, etc...
You are right , the problem is not there yet and most likely will not arise as one, I always tend to read to much into an install, amp is working fine, turned on for first time tonight all is good , no headlight dimming or spikes in meter. Thanks Again
I decided to use front battery for all 12v loads, now does anyone or has anyone done a alt. with say 120+ amp upgarde? (drivers side only)
I don't have a large load except maybe at night and raining, my new amp for stereo is about 28 to 30amp draw at full volume or my max volume, acc. are no...
So do I not ground my device or do I ground and not let( it) touch, I do see the terminal block Gm used so did they not ground anything else after leaving the block with 12v through-out the rest of the truck?
Also (sandcobra) I,m trying to accomplish what you said in post #22 just understand it...
So now I'm confused bad, there is 12 v on rear battery right?, power goes to 12v block on fire wall, can I use it? just at the battery post as a connection point?
