Electric 24v Fans
Got to retain sample valve, also will finish oil cooler, waiting on it to come from derale including oil bypass valve for winter temps.
Didn't want to loose old style tank cooler for oil but had to remove for electric 24v fans couldn't work it out with those crazy bump tube...
As spoke of in this thread there is a belt drive out there for these dual alternator trucks, price isn't bad but pricey if you add it to unit from vintage air.
Getting those brackets was the key to a neat job.
Need to cool condenser at idle with air on so thats the electric fan part.
Just making sure it works well not just half.
Got to get those oil lines out for a new 24v electric dual fans.
Also will add oil cooler with thermo bypass to keep oil warm in winter.
Those fittings are not to be had so I'm keeping all oem oil stuff to put back if ever need comes.
Keith_J, Which hose should I use valve on?
And I read what I wrote from a past thread on here just go to search threads there are 5 on control valve, anyway here we are and thanks.
There is nothing wrong in my box just a little rush of air as you move down the road at 45 or so, stop; then no...
Also, ones I've looked at are vacuum, ( all by-pass mdls.) but the only one i saw that was metal (by-pass mdl. as well) is discontinued from a 50's model chevy.
I guess it will be two valves and a check-valve, plus a tee, if no one pipes in?
Is it true? that the flow can't be stopped on both...
OK, I've read most but maybe couldn't find all I needed, that given I got to stop heat from coming into cab, via flow we know about already.
Is there a valve that allows by-pass as well so thermostat works as should?
I'll do manual or electric if this is something thats been done? searched...

Does anyone have idea on this? Ord kit is 1/2 inch longer on rear of front - frame to spring eye shackle height.
Ord says its fine no problem, but; does anyone have a kit on stock spring and stock height that can say for sure on drivability , does it stay the same...
Rear of front spring, is the 1/2 inch that comes in a ORD fush kit do anything to make my stock 1008 drive differently, (the extra 1/2 inch longer shackle height?)
Pinion angle is it ok with the half inch increase on the longer shackles?
Caster angle is it better or worse?
I,ll finish install...
