Thanks. Lawdog734. I used door limit strap brackets from My Jeep Wrangler parts supply. They are the perfect size for the door post location.

What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

wired up my antennas and they are working! one antenna runs to the CB and the other runs to the radio. I'm getting more radio stations than my Jeep with a stock antenna. Moreover, my wrangler has a 4' fiberglass antenna and it woks good but the humvee gets out farther the that. so that tells me...

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

Thanks for the tip regarding the fan. I always questioned it's operation because it seems to me that it runs like a fixed fan? Running fast/normal speed. but i will unplug the module and see if i get a difference.

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

Really? Wow! Most ICE (internal combustion engines) Gasoline that is, run cooler right around 195. But the Humvee's run a big block (6.2-6.5) so yes a little hotter but 220? So apparently this is normal? I have a 6.5 with about 18K (Thats what the odometers says anyways) and i haven't hit 200...

    HMMWV Overheat Q's and pictures

Speaking of temp gauges. I don't know if i'm just a bit paranoid or is this a sign of something going on? My gauge gets close to 200. Now it has never hit 200 (Yet) but it gets close. The humvee runs great and no signs of over heating but just seeing what you guys think? I would like to catch...

Hmmwv 6.5l purchased, turns out to be a 6.2l

The pictures i seen when i clicked on your link (it's still working) and logged in, are clearly showing a 6.2 L NA engine. Now this new picture it appears that the Tach/Oil pump drive lock down nut is on the right side which indicates it being a 6.5. I can't see the engine castings in the new...

    My M101A3 & I got a question?

I know the trailers aren't to different . The A3 has a 4'' frame whereas the A1 and A2 have 3" frames. The axel on the A3 is off set and has 6 springs whereas the others only have 5 springs and their axel is straight. Moreover, the A3 also came with run flats.
