scrub only shifts out 1.25" which when should actually correct the scrub radius when adding taller tires.
only thing holding me up at this point is getting a primary driver on the road that needs a head gasket and timing chain job. once that is on the road the deuce is my priority.
I did...
lockouts and airshift accomplisht he same task in this case of disconnecting the wheels from the transmission.
they should only be locked in whenon slick surfaces anyways so the item that "gives way" is the ground.
the sprag setup actually has the front geared slower than the rears. so long...
timken bump stops would outlive any solid rubber ones due to being taller and designed to squish for increased load capacity. it would obviously be a custom application but the bellowed bump stop should do the trick of not wearing out as fast while protecting the frame
sadly the deuce hasn't been my priority so i haven't had time to install them yet. heck i haven't even had time to install the new 24v wiper motors and that's an easy one.
get one of these any never worry again

mechanical advantage of almost 60-to-1
has effortlessly removed all lugs including ones that the 6' bar had trouble with.
weather is finally warming up so i can work on my truck again. should be installing the front two adapters in the next few weeks.
I have the studs pressed into the adapters - just need to get the hubs off the truck to press the old studs out.
what I have available right now is standard 5 ton wheels with 11x20 mounted tires.
eventually i'll replace those with 22.5 wheels and commercially available on/offroad retreads.
nope sorry - between family, work, and odd weather (no shop big enough for deuce) I haven't been able to install my set yet.
I'm hoping to get some weather to be able to atleast install the front 2 wheels soon.
without any hardware just the machined adapters are 150 each + shipping
keep in mind I'm not selling these - just trying to help with a group buy from the machinist for anybody else that wants them
I still haven't had an opportunity to install mine yet.
imo I wouldn't
at the most i would use the running gear for a custom fabbed up chaser that had bodywork closer to the ground, and an engine/transmission that would handle the 1,000,000 miles that would be put on it chasing storms all over.
if you are looknig at one peice wheels then check the prices on used commercial 20 and 22.5 wheels
should be able to get them for around 50-100$ each at local alvage yards
