My m944 with goodyear 14 r 20 tires will go 60+ by engine rpm but the tires are speed rated at 55mph I dont see a speed rating on the michelin tires.

I talked to the on site people today to schedule the pick up and they said the lathe is in the truck and some of the other equipment. They said the hand tools are recycled thru some program to the military or a school or some other thing. Im really looking forward to getting it.

I did not inspect it. The GL guy thought the machines were in it. It seems like they could have a little better info on what they are selling. The gl rep was in MN when I called so didnt have direct access to it.

What about a L10 or m11 cummins? I dont know how the dimensions of that motor compare to the 465 but you could buy a single axle tractor pretty cheap and put in the engine/tranny (maybe use a 5 ton transfercase) and have a nice combo.
