    Moving soybeans with the m818

I just bought a set of magnetic lights from walmart and pull the 12volt 1157 bulbs out and replaced them with 1662 24volt bulbs that I got from napa. I would have used the trailer lights but they are sealed and I couldnt put the 1662 bulbs in them. I didnt have any problems with the air...

    Moving soybeans with the m818

I bought the truck because we had a wet fall last year and had to unload on the road. I figured if the combine can get in the field I should be able to get in with the 6x6. I still want a m915 series 8x6 or maybe a m911 but I like the cummins better than the detroit diesel. Here are some more...

    m35a2 front axle weight rating?

I was looking on clark trucks website and they said the front axle is rated at 11000 and the tandems at 28000. Im thinking about putting a 16ft grain dump box on my m35a2 and wondered if it would handle 25000lbs payload(400bu corn). I guess according to them it would.Ross

    Towing a Deuce

I had a problem with my 109a3 that I was pulling with my m35a2 from norman to nebraska. When I was pulling it slowly around a corner I had to have my 11 yr old son man the steering wheel on the van truck. It would sometimes turn the front tires the opposite way I was turning. I was using a...

    927a2 questions

Ive been watching some of these newer trucks on GL and have questions. I was reading thru the TM for the 927a2 and it seems to say that the 855 cummings is rated 240 hp in the 927a2 and 250 in the 927. Both are listed as turbocharged, why dont they have more hp than the non turbo 855? Are...

I have to pick up 3 m105a2 trailers from fort riley and am wondering if anybody has tried towing a trailer with a trailer. I figured to take my m35a2 and put one in the cargo box and tow the other two. Is it feasable? What is the dimensions of the inside of the 105a2 box? What is the...

bringing a in transit truck onto base??

Both vehicles are going to be picked up in oklahama (the norman base)then driven to kansas(the fort riley base) to pick up enough stuff to load them all the way up, then home to nebraska. I will have my wife driving our suburban which is the only vehicle licensed and registered.
