Well, great balls of fire! Got approval of my EUCs today. Does anyone know if they require insurance on the vehicles if you just winch 'em up on a trailer and go?
Harbor Freight. They copied the High Lift Jack pretty well. I've already jacked up one end of a 20' container with it and it held up. $40.00 and some change.
The body is CJ-2A, as is the tailgate. Willys markings are normal for the tailgate on the CJ-2A. The i.d. plate would have been located directly in front of the passenger seat, and I can see from the photos, it's gone. If you think the engine is original, you could get the serial number off...
Well, this is Bu!!$h!t; we all need to band together and form up on "Battle Creek" I've got 2 of them pending and will NOT put up with a contract defalcation on gl's part.
I'm going with Barrman, and while I'm at it, many thanks to him and the others for this great info. What exactly do you need to take to the tax office besides the SF97, your invoice and your insurance? Do they give you an actual plate or can you use the bumper numbers? SCC
How about being able to deal with defalcations of GL as far as bids go....perhaps a bigger, badder liason unit within this site. That from a new guy (relatively) who reads more than he (or she) posts.
I got the hardtop at Fort Sam in San Antonio today. I looked at it on Monday and I could have sworn it was a fiberglass top? So apparently the military may have installed it?
