I would not worry about being mistaken for a soldier, unless you are running around in full ACUs (uniform). Driving my army truck all I was ever asked was how can I get one?, where did I get it?, how much?, cool truck.

You need to inspect the truck before you bid, just like you would buying anything else. To see if there to a hole in motor, trans and anything else. Oil leaks, oil in motor, fliud in the brakes. Leaks at the wheels etc..........
Depends where you got the truck from, all the trucks I have worked on where 60amp. The military converted them a while back. It is the same alt that is used on the HMMWV. But I'm sure there are Some M35's out there with 25 amp still in there, that came out of the system a long time a go.

All they do is power steering boxs and pumps. I sent two boxs for rebuilt so far. It's been great I can turn the wheel with one finger. I would say it has been the best thing I have done to the trucks.

The show was great, but I hope they will hold it on a weekend when there are no other MV shows are happening. There where 2 other shows that weekend. Which I think kept some people and vendors away. Again it was a great show!
