You need to find the person or company that imported all those WW2 trucks a while back. They might be able to help you. They were given to those countrys after the war.

You can get filter and block complete for $49.99. You need to clean the tank or get a new one. I the long run it will be cheaper. The fuel block has 2 sensors in it . Why by pass them?
It comes down to if the fuel is used to power your truck to go down the paved road. You are going to paid fuel tax for the maintaince of that road. There is no road tax to heat your home or drive around the farm (off-road use) and really you shouldn't have to pay that tax for your lawn mower. (...
They where most likely turn in cause they where ordered and not needed. If parts are not listed on the PLL they are turn in . So they end up at the DRMS (old name DRMO) for reutilization by the military first, than by any other goverment agency who wants them. The left overs are sold to us.

Again just use a good diesel 15w-40 oil. That is what the military uses. They never updated their 2 1/2 ton manuals, if fact they got rid of them (trucks). Some guard units have even began turning In the 800s (5 ton) .
