I know it sure is a blessing to have friends here on this site. As a collector and man who is nuts about these trucks and trailers the friends here more than make up for any GL or DRMO shortcomings. It is my pleasure to log on each time and find more great information and meet another Steel...
I am going to put bunks in and a work/ kitchen table as well as a few cabinets like you have there. I would like it to sleep at least four so I am toying with the interior layout. I did like the one that was in the Utah thread

Well said I do not begrudge them but you hit it right on the head inventory not scrap. It is the old legalize As Is condition leaves them an out no matter what they do. Too bad they do not have to sign a hand reciept and then inspect it with the customer to make sure it is in the same...
The thing is I have seen them abuse equipment right in front of me. Give a man a forklift without a vested interest in what he is lifting and that spells trouble. My truck was clearly abused by a forklift and the fresh paint scrapes are an indication of negligence and that is all that is...
Yeah that fork dent could have been much worse I guess it is just that I would be giving my Soldier an article 15 for such an act of destruction of government property. To me GL is one of the worse at this type of damage without accountability.
Kenny I saw this truck and felt good about putting a rather higher bid in on it and the GL photos were no where near showing the real condition of it. My son said it ran great and wants it if I pass on to the rehlms of Heaven. It is insured and I just need to get the SF97 from GL to make it a...
The GL Idiots and I use that term with full intent of them seeing it had to use a fork lift to do taht damage. My sons got it started and it stalled out then would not start. I was on the cell phone with them at the time and we talked about fuel starvation from a clogged filter or other...
Hey we do need help a woman that loves trucks is one of the first things too. That and a good job to keep these things running and maintained. That looks great mine will look like it soon after I get home.
Wow thanks John it sure looks better than the GL photos. I am so waiting to come home an take delivery of this great truck and to finally meet you too.
On my almost cherry rebuilt in 2004 M109 it would only start for a second then quit. Thankfully my sons learned enough from me to trace the problem to a paper thin fuel line on the frame rail thanks to a GL forklift that also dented the pan. This is verified by the fact that there is no rust...
That is a great shot I sure hope to swing down your way when I finally get home. I got good news today as John was looking over my M109 and found it was overhauled in 2004. He said it looks to be a very nice truck. Hopefully it won't need a towbar in quite a long while.
ouch that picture hurts. I took those after I got a call from the SGM he knew I alway carried my digital camera and he whisked me out to the scene did that break happen to you Bjorn?
I took these pictures back in 2002 when a Virginia National Guard or USAR was going too fast for conditions and because he was towing without hooking up the brakes on the towed truck because they were caged in the quick stop he had to make these are the results. M915 towing an M915 right...
Wow that is a great way to recover them if stopped to you have the TPX endorsement on a CDL? I know I keep mine just in case I am hauling more than one trailer.
I could paste a Euro in the windshield of my duece would that qualify? Or I could paint Le Cammion on the bumper or paint it pink or yellow for the French Army.
Looks great and will complement your shooting platform is that a MIG you are working with? What additional bracing will you put inside to keep the wieght that will undoubtedly get put on the rim from denting the hard top?
Would a hydraulic pump work or would the waste oil harm the impellers? I was thinking of useing a big one I have and pulling the oil post filer with the pump.
