this is a friends new truck. Got it with the 4l80e and it ready. it's from my 91 3/4 Ton suburban. coming in my driveway we heard this bang noise a few times going down the driveway the truck shuttered a bit. Don't know the mileage on the transmission. It is all stock. Any ideas what this could...

been down this road before. glow plugs are a few years old. have had very little use. truck had a few thousand miles put on in the last 3 years. alternators are charging fine. the resister is gone. getting the 12v from the block above the brake booster. seems to cycle fine. about 8 to 10...

whatever came with them in the 80s. the truck has the power block by the passenger seat but that it.. working radio..

i agree with dependable. i had a few of those over seas started. one didnt even make it a year. need to replace another one. pull yours out. rebuild it. my m1009 has had the same 24v stock starter since 2002
