I did just that when we went to Camp Atterbury, IN for 21 days. I slept in the truck at night in the motorpool, then drove it around during the day. There were so many Soldiers at Atterbury that they didn't have enough bed space. My troops had to move 6 different times in the first 10 days.

Just a thought, I had my M1031 pull to the right do to different size tires on rear. Left/Rear was new and the Right/Rear was at about 40%. Replaced the used tire with another new one and this fixed the pulling when giving it fuel going down the road.

I've had the best luck with the "Ultra Black" RTV. I let it set over night for a good seal. Never had a leak. I use to use "Red" RTV and "Gray" RTV. But not anymore.

I might just do that if I can get the oil leaks fixed. Still waiting on the title from GL.

You have to get a small 2x4 and lay it on the top side of the valve cover and hit it with a BIG hammer a few times. That will break the gasket loose.

Took some time to look at this today, I put the compression tester that I got from Kenny on the #2 cylinder and it only went up to 260 ft lbs. The other cylinders are around 385 ft lbs. Looks like I have to pull the engine and remove the head to see what happened.:-(

I should be done with buying anymore CUCV-II's unless it a Suburban or Blazer type with 6.5L turbo. Saving for a LSSV's now.:drool: Bruce, you still want an extra set of LED headlights ? There at my kids place in MD.

A little update: I have a few external oil leaks. 1. One is at the oil cooler line that goes into the oil cooler in front of the rad. 2. Looks like I have oil leaking from the valve covers(mostly on drivers side) I may have a bad CDR valve that is over-pressurizing the crankcase. I'll replace...

The picture of the oil filter shows the hole. Looks like the last oil change was 25-Apr-2011 at 78,627 miles. It now shows 81,998 miles. Going to have to start working on its big brother soon.
