here are the picts of the different instrument clusters. the first on with the speed and tach gauges on the inside is the newer style. the second one with the speed and tach gauges on the outside is the older (maybe reo) style.

wmo could still be run in a diesel with a lot of smoke, however, add the gasoline to a diesel and it will run you a new engine.:mrgreen:

does anyone have a source for the passenger side jerry can holder? this one came with my M35a2 and i moved it to my M109a3 (Hurricane Evac Truck). here are some picts of the install. on one post here on ss someone said the install used a quick connect screw from a instrunment cluster, however...

there is the one like my post about the light in the center and then there is another lavout, i will take a pict of my other truck with the different cluster this afternoon and post as soon as i can. i think these were the old reo trucks.

USAFSS-ColdWarrior - Can't make out the seal on the Door. It would probably be funnier if we could know the whole story or what goober-mental agency the vehicle was assigned to. The story is not near as funny if you add the facts. the pict is funnier if you don't know.

before you get a combo alt there is a dual (one 24 volt and one 12 volt alt system) it is a direct bolt up for a deuce multi fuel. i installed the single 24 volt on my M35a2 and have plans to put the 2 alt system on my M109a3 the 24 volt to run the truck and the 12 to an nother set of batteries...

Someone with a 5 ton or bigger should paint that on the back. people like to get right up where i can't see them so that might keep them back.
