Looks like a great (useful) mod.
Ill have to try that on one of mine.
Dump feature: The way I look at is its YOUR trailer, do what you like with it :)
Thanks for posting this.
When you lower the t-case, all your doing is making the frt shaft angles WORSE.
Shim the rear axle IF it needs it.
Why spend money on the lift & short cut the driveshafts ?
Do it right or don't do it.
Btw my m1028A1 is lifted 6in frt, 7 & 1/2 rear.
I have a fixed yoke 205 & I shimmed the rear...
Details, details
Where abouts in Texas ?
If your near Dallas, I'll be happy to give you a ride to the airport
(I want to make sure you go back to oh )
I personally think every single vehicle & trailer should come with a sf-97.
SF-97 = government title which shows "ownership" not registration = on road driveability.
It's in the way people measure the wheel.
Outside edge to outside edge is 9.75in.
The CORRECT way to measure is bead to bead
(Like Gringletaube posted) 8.25in
EDIT: There are some wider ones out there but they have been widened (custom)
