Yes, very easy to do.
They are the square ended pieces that stick out.
Pull your frt shaft & see what I mean.
Grind the ends off & check for clearance.
There you go.
I took a closer look at mine today
(4in shackle flip, 1in zero rate moved 1in BACK
& 2 & 1/2in lift springs (56in rear springs, m1028).
With your shorter wheelbase & the flip, you should be moving the axle BACK, NOT forward.
Different driveshaft style & or a longer one might be needed.
How about a pic from further back ?
How is the rear lift installed, almost looks like shims or springs are installed incorrectly.
Looks like the pinion needs to come up some.
I also agree the joint looks to be a 1310 & not the correct 1350.
Close, I finally got some time to work on the 28A1 !
Installed a mpfi 350/4l80/205.
Starts, runs & moves.
I hope to get exhaust on it this week.
Ill post pics when I get more of the small details done.
It looks factory for the most part :)
This isn't a big deal.
I took complete winch assy from an A1 & put on an A2.
The only differances are pto shaft length & lever housing in the cab.
I removed pto from A1 WITHOUT moving anything & installed the pto on the A2
WITOUT moving anything.
Its not a super easy job but it's not very...
