Exact same thing and cable happened to me a week ago. Scared the crap out of my son, he was climbing in when i tried to start it and it sparked.

Yes, he 's just down the road aways. He recently repainted his truck and got a new tarp.

There are about 100 there and it is put on by a 50's car club and cost $5. Most of the cars are nicely restored 50's and 60's cars. I think I may have been the first mv to show up.

I would agree with having it shipped. If you brake down on the way home, you probably won't have the tools to fix it and won't find a place to get parts for it. The cost of getting it tow to who knows where, may be more $ than having it shipped. What I did was drive up to Redstone and took...

Yes you are right, I may just us the bumper numbers after I find out how many digits I can use. I think I will go to the Military Museum one of these weekends and ask the guys down there how they register theirs.
