Hey Brandon, Noticed the trolley brake lever on the right side of the steering column, did you install that or was it already there? I thought only the tractors and tractor-wreckers had the trolley brake lever?

What RPM's does the engine put out when it "runs away"? If it is just going up on the governor ( like around 2300 rpm I think), then it might be your IP or governor not working properly.

Is that M246 a multi fuel or another Mack powered one? Big military trucks are like Lays potato chips - you can have just one!!

yep no air = neutral sprag. You can put a cutoff valve in the air supply line to serve the same purpose.

I would drain the oil out of the transmission and see if there are any chunks/pieces in the oil. You can take the top off the trans also and check inside it. Ask any auto parts place where to get a hose made.

Dang, thats a rare bird - a M246A1. Make sure your PTO is disengaged and check all of the linkages also. Also read through the TM's for the truck and try to troubleshoot your problem.

If you could scan the manual and ask one the moderators or who ever is in charge of the TM's here to post it, I know I would greatly appreciate it. [thumbzup]
