    Oliver 2150 with multifuel

Found an Oliver 2150 tractor at the fair. Has a multifuel engine without the multifuel capabilties. Different intake, exhaust, turbo, injector pump, altenator/bracket. Also, it was not a TD block. Heads, injectors, oil filters, block, and oil pan look the same. Block off plate for the air...

    M108 blew up/recovery(fixed)

Supposed to call Jim in a couple of weeks, he may have a different one. The truck we are thinking about we would have to buy to get parts off. It's in the classifieds here.

    M108 blew up/recovery(fixed)

I'm thinking the bore for the liner is shot, with how it came out of there. And may have pieces of it on top of the piston, banging the valves/head. Leaning towards a rebuild. A LDS rebuild... For now I'm going to try and get the rod and piston out, and run it as a 5 cylinder yard truck...

    M108 blew up/recovery(fixed)

M108 blew up/recovery Went to SW's place for the MVPA show, made it to the show, then on the way home the truck blew. Was about 10 miles towards home, pulled in a gas station for some fuel. While in the parking lot, moving around at idle, the engine started knocking loudly and missing...

    M35 brakes, ok to great

Was driving the M108 the other day and noticed the brakes were getting soft. Did a hard braking stop and took way too long to stop. Knew the master cylinder was not returning all the way, causing some of the issue. I had rebuilt it, but it wasn't the best to start with. The airpack also was...

ORIGINAL 2.5 ton axle lock outs

Kenny, bring them to the GA rally and we can "test fit" them on my crane!

    deuce and 5 ton interchange

I think only the 900 series 5 tons have the wider hardtop.

    Tried to be slick.....

My M108 has plenty of down pressure, and will lift the truck. Like Kenny, I've used it to dismount tires. The garwoods may not have as much, A/W cranes have one large piston.

    End of my rope!

Yep, DOT 3 hear also... Works well. I've got a mushy pedal on the M108 at the moment. Have a new master and rebuilt airpack to go on, I know both of the old ones are not the best. And adjusting the brakes really helps on pedal height. My M35 has a great pedal and brakes. Hey kenny, I even...

    Deuce Engine Overheating?

Gauges are known to be wrong. Need a temp gun to find out if the temp gauge is right.

    New video, low speed run

Next time video on the halftrack/tank race! Might have to do it during the day though. I went to a show in troy, ohio last weekend. Had a sherman there, and said they were doing a demonstration. The kids were pretty disapointed when all they did was fire some black powder, they wanted to...

    Show Me Your Campers!

Best thing to do is go to a RV place and look over the slides. You can buy the hardware, not sure how hard it would be to build. They have multiple seals. Mine also has the extra awning over the slide, seems like a good idea. Be pretty neat to have a MV trailer with slideouts on it!

    Show Me Your Campers!

Plywood does hold up okay if painted. I've got a 58 jeep with a plywood top that's 30 years old and still there. Kinda of... Here's the camper my wife bought.... Don't think she will let me paint it green!

    Precise RPM control

Gimpster had a bunch of the viener control cables at one time, cheap.. Maybe he will chime in, or you could PM him. They do work nice.

    M108

I'm trying to make it there Kenny! Saw an asking price of 10,500 on the other site. Don't think you will see that out of this crowd, we are pretty cheap. But if it was sandblasted and painted up nice, and good enough shape to be driven long distance, that might not be a bad price for the...

why CUCV is better than a Deuce (just fun)

Why would I want a 80's diesel GM? Deuce is a truck that works, and has very few civilian equivalents. If you want a MV and can't get a real one, I guess a CUCV works.
