    Part number correction for *better* fitting belts

    I just replaced the belts on one of my M1009(wife's truck) last week. I had trouble with the Driver's side- 15581 being a little tight. The old belt was 15585 and was maxed out.2cents I had to bump the starter to get the belt on. Gatorbacks Goodyear Pass-15491- 48.5" Driver- 15581-57.5"...

    CUCV Battery tray upgrade

    I made a tray for my M1028A2 Dually...I installed a banks turbo and have Red Top Batteries in it now. It was a quick mod to get it running. Adapters are on the bottom of the batteries. See post #41 and #53 in the below thread...

    CUCV-II, South Florida Rebuild

    You can use the CUCV's (M1008/M1028/M1031) not M1009(15" rims) rims and tires if you want, they are 235/85/16 with load rating of D or you could go with a bigger tire. Just watch your load rating. What is your pull vehicle ? What size tire's are you running on it ?

    Yes it was, My son and I moved the 10 crates of tents(246lbs ea) into the back of my M923. I just left the Base-X 203 tent on top of the gooseneck.

    Yep, I will be swapping the front dually adapters...only one bad wheel stud that needs to be changed. 4L80E....yes, and now I will have a good spare......I just paid $1500 for a rebuilt BW4401 transfer case in my CUCV-II Reg Cab Truck. Now I will have a spare Transfer case also.
