OK thanks guys I knew what I was talking about but it didnt come out right the first time. It was wired for 220, one half was wired to run off one phase and the other side was set up to run off another. I know this is not the way its mint to be but thats the way it was. This is embaressing but I...
I was trying to wire up 115 to my m109 threw the main switch and ran into a problem. I had 115 my heater I had in the box wouldnt work off the plugs, I brought the same extension cord I was using to power the truck in and the heater worked fine. After looking at the wiring diagram for awhile and...
I will be changing the two prong over to a standard RV plug. I would like the 6 prong one in case I want to drag along the gen set and not go out to start it when its cold outside. Still not sure if I can with this setup.
Would that make it a m185 ? I finally found the wiring diagram for the box and see the m185a3 has a connector and a start stop switch in it.
I was going threw the wires today tracing them from the switch to the box and started thinking that this might be what it was used for. Then I seen your...
well thanks anyways, I knew the top was the 115ac input but didnt know what the bottom one was. I found a TB 9-4940-548-30 that list a # 5935-00-259-0340, but it doesn't say its purpose. I guess I just need to get a friend and long jumpers to run out a window and find where they go.
Ok I'll have pics tomorrow. I looked in the manual and it shows two connectors, one on top of the other. Also I am missing the switch by the door for the black out lights, I have the four wires but they were just clipped off.
I got it all painted today and 3/4" subfloor in this weekend. I...
Hi everyone, just started working on my 109 to turn it into a camper for hunting. I have a question, I did a search and seen nothing on it so I have to ask before I tear into the electrical. what are the plugs on the right front of the cab for? I know the two prong one is the 115 in, but what is...
Hey sorry this is OT but how long have you had your m109? I havent seen any around, havent really looked but I have one one the way. Waiting on EUC to go threw.
Thanks again for the advice, I'll listen as you guys have been there done that and know best, I would hope anyways, lol.
m109guy I read your conversion page and will be using alot of the things you did on mine. I just want to put the tanks under the truck for more floor space when its not...
Well I have everything to converit into a camper and was wondering about mounting the water and waste tanks outside of the frame, I was going to inclose them, but was thinking of using the extra room between the tires and frame. I know I'll have alot to do first but I'm hoping to have most of...
Ok just won my first m109 and was wondering about singling it out. Would the stock tires work? I've seen m35's do it but didnt know if the extra weight of the 109 box would be too much. I know I should do it right and go with 11-20's or 395's but just cant do it right now. I could just leave it...
Its coming out of grayling, I just heard about the problems everyone has had there on the last auction so its got me scared. I just went by today to see if I could see it from the road or maybe get someone to go take a picture of it and the guard wasnt the greatest to talk to. I'll call monday...
No pictures as I havent even picked up the truck yet lol. I might go back this weekend and get a nice small shower out of a rv. or at least the shower pan and faucet. maybe another $30 while I'm there I'll look for another fram mounted lp tank, never have enough propane when your out in the...
I'm doing the same thing. In the last two weeks I spent less than $200 and got 2 heaters one 12,000 btu and one 22,000 btu, two water heaters, a couple big fresh water tanks, one with a level sensor and the gauge, a toliet with the tank for it. a colman roof top a/c unit (works just not real...
Well that sucks, This was going to be my first MV and was hoping I could have it ready for hunting season this year. I talked to the contact listed on friday and he said most of them you could drive away with. But I see you cant believe him now. I am going to call again friday and see when he...
I bid on the one that ended on the 30th. mine was listed as "runs and drives" By the pictures it looked to be the most complete and in good shape. I have a cabin about 17 miles from the base, but I couldnt get up there to inspect it.
